KJ Bromell LTD is a family run business based in Bude, Cornwall. Trading since 1979 the Independent Builders Merchant opened in 2006, offering a wide selection of construction materials, tools and equipment to both trade and residential customers. KJ Bromell is an active H&B group member and an important asset to the North Cornwall area.
With their extensive product range the company has been going from strength to strength. When Jodie Bromell took over the family business, she decided to re-evaluate the business software that the company was using. She wanted to change to something more modern which would allow better control over the stock, which she did not feel she was getting from their existing older software system.
The decision was made to move forward with Blue Rock Systems and iQ software for builders merchants, as the experience and independent ethos of the business matched with KJ Bromell’s company values.
Since the decision was made the iQ software has been installed and implemented by Blue Rock Systems. Full training has been delivered and the company has since undergone a successful go-live, with the Blue Rock team on hand to smooth out any issues as quickly as possible.
While pressing go on any new software implementation can be daunting, the KJ Bromell team have embraced the beginning of their new modern solution and will soon be making full use of the functionality that will help to boost productivity and improve communication between departments.
Mobile warehousing will be a key element in revolutionising the way their current stock activities work. Using this functionality will allow greater control over stock taking and receiving, reducing administration time as well as making data easier to record and archive for the KJ Bromell team.
